“The Red Jewel,” and that she is! Joya is my daughter Jillianne’s horse, and the two of them are nearly inseparable. Joya takes special care of my 5-year-old daughter, and for that I am eternally thankful.

 

Joya is also the horse that I ride out on the trail and in parades with other members of my local Arabian horse club. In addition, Joya and I are preparing to take our Training and First Level dressage tests this August. She is a fantastic ambassador of our breed!

 

Before coming to us Joya had a successful show career that spanned nearly 15 years in three states and included numerous championships in Western Pleasure. Joya was even shown to a 4th place award at the Scottsdale Show by a rider that was under 10 years of age! After her show career Joya became a trusted school horse and trail mount. We welcome Joya to our family where she is treasured for the jewel that she is!
