Acquiring The Sun Heiress in March 2007 has been a dream come true for us! We have long admired this gorgeous mare, especially after meeting her in person in 2004, just after she foaled our precious Pharao.

 

Heiress is one of the most classic mares living, representing the best characteristics of the “authentic” Arabian in conformation and pedigree. Heiress represents fifth generation Phara breeding, with three crosses to Lewisfield Sun God. She is a full sibling to Phara Farm stallions Burgundy Sun and The Sun Prince, and is the dam of our 100% Phara stallion Pharao. With her brilliant presence, burnished gold coloring, exquisite type and classic conformation, she continues the Phara Farm legacy here at Dahabi Arabians.

 

Heiress is pure in the strain Seglawi al Abd going back to the Spanish military import Zulima from Syria. This line is renowned for having an intense love for their human, being super-athletic, beautiful, charismatic and frequently not just beautiful but very, very elegant. Heiress is world-class — true royalty, and we are honored to share our lives with her.

 

The Sun Heiress will be bred to Gari Dill-Marlow’s stallion ANTHAM (British Supreme Nat’l Ch *RUSHAN x Aristocrat mare WN SHARAZADA) in 2008 for a foal that we will retain for our program. She will be bred to our senior stallion Golden Ecstasy in 2009.
