SHADEED ... born strong, not just a name. Shadeed is the first born son of our stallion AMIR SHAKLAN (Om El Shahmaan x Asdiqa Badeia by *Sanadik El Shaklan) and our mare MACARENA BRAHIMA (*Sidi-Brahim x MA Halima Rouge by El Majiid). We had high expectations for this foal and are not disappointed!
Shadeed is truly the classic Arabian foal personified ... he has an extremely wide and bulging forehead with low-set, huge buggy eyes (he has been referred to by many as "Bambi"), an incredibly small muzzle with huge nostrils, and extreme dryness of the foreface. He is short-coupled with a strong, well-balanced hip and an upright arched neck. He has an incredibly deep laid-back shoulder, allowing for natural extension in his stride. His long legs are already nearly as tall as those of his 15.2+ hand dam's!
In addition to his correctness of conformation and classic breed type, Shadeed has a wonderful disposition. Extremely friendly and very gentle, he is proving to follow in his sire's footsteps as being willing, kind and affectionate. But give him the opportunity to "turn it on" and he does! Just like his dam, Shadeed has incredible charisma and presence ... he is a natural-born show horse.
We look forward to watching this promising young colt mature into a handsome stallion. Plans are in the works to begin his show career in 2011.
