MIA DOLCE (MP ANNIKA) HAHR*1A363284
There have been several people in the Arabian horse industry that have played an instrumental role in my education of the breed. One of the foremost is Gari Dill-Marlow. Before ever meeting her in person, we had many conversations via letters, e-mail, online forums, and phone calls. I had long admired her deep knowledge and insight into the Arabian horse, especially the Crabbet Arabian. The horses of Caelliotts Magic Arabians (Gari's breeding program) always fascinated me. When I had the opportunity to meet them - and Gari - in person, it was like a dream come true for me!
In several visits to see Gari and her horses, I also developed a friendship with another incredible breeder - Cindy Morgan of Mount Pleasant Stallion Station. Gari's horses were living at Mount Pleasant when I met them. From the first time I was introduced to Cindy, she was so genuine and welcoming! She too had some of the most stunningly beautiful Arabian horses I have ever seen. Cindy is MP Annika's breeder, whom I affectionately called Mia Dolce, "My Sweet."
Mia is a big girl! She was already over 15 hands when she came to me as a long yearling. As a two-year-old, she was larger than any of my full-grown purebreds! A true beauty, Mia captured my heart with her kind disposition and truly incredible eyes. Though she was only with me a short time, the lasting impression she left on my heart remains.
