On one of my visits to California to see my dear friend Janice Smith, she introduced me to the incredible Spanish horses of Los Acres. Jackie Tone Polk and Janice were longtime friends, and we were invited into Jackie's house where I was presented with a packet filled with articles and other published materials about the people and horses of Los Acres. I will treasure these items as they tell the story of how Los Acres came to be, the story of how the great *SIDI-BRAHIM came into their lives, and of the family's history prior to Los Acres being established - going into detail their love story revolving around the discovery of and life-long passion for their stallion FADJUR. Many of the most beautiful horses bred by Los Acres are the result of crossing FADJUR daughters (and now granddaughters) to *SIDI-BRAHIM (and now to sons and grandsons of *SIDI-BRAHIM) - a cross that has proven to consistently produce horses with magnificent beauty, extreme athleticism, devote loyalty to their person . . . with each of them having some level of the incredible presence and charisma that the fabulous FADJUR was so famous for.

Thus when the opportunity arrived for me to add the truly stunning mare PF BEAUTY QUEEN (*Sandstorm JC x Fadjurs Beauty by Fadjur) to my select herd at Dahabi Arabians, I jumped at the chance!

 

PF BEAUTY QUEEN . . . sired by International Champion *Sandstorm JC. *Sandstorm JC has garnered many prestigious show accomplishments both in the United States and in Europe (see Beauty's pedigree page for show highlight listings), including championships in Halter, Dressage, and Show Hack. *Sandstorm JC is sired by National Champion Stallion Fame VF+, son of Bey Shah+ and out of a daughter of two-time National Champion Raffon++. *Sandstorm JC's dam Sids Marjuri is a daughter of the Gold Medal Winner of Spain and one of our all-time favorite stallions, *Sidi-Brahim. Sids Marjuri is out of the Fadjur daughter Marjuri.

PF BEAUTY QUEEN's dam is Fadjurs Beauty, sired by the fabulous Fadjur and out of the Fadjur daughter Fadjurska {x Saki}. PF Beauty Queen ("Beauty") has four crosses to Fadjur and carries 45.3125% Fadjur blood.

 

When my marriage ended in an ugly divorce and I had to let all my horses go, Beauty went to a dear friend, Gabrielle Williams of Querida Arabians in Dixon, Missouri.
